Our story
Small shop, enormous sweet tooth
Right in the bustle of the Nieuwendijk, Sweet Bakery is the kind of place where the smell of warm waffles pulls you in off the street. We bake through the day rather than ahead of it, which is why the counter looks different at nine in the morning and nine at night.

Dubai chocolate, three ways
The pistachio-and-chocolate filling that took over the internet, made in-house and folded into three things we already knew how to bake well.
Dubai croissant
All-butter croissant, pistachio cream, crisp kadayif and dark chocolate.
Dubai crêpe
Folded thin and warm, with the same pistachio filling and a chocolate drizzle.
Dubai stroopwafel
A Dutch classic with a Gulf accent. Pistachio, chocolate, still warm.
